Place rice vermicelli noodles in a large bowl filled with boiled water and soak as per packet instructions. Drain and set aside. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a wok or heavy based fry pan over medium heat. Add the shrimp/prawns, cook until just cooked - about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.


Pour over chicken. Cook on low for 5-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Shred chicken and add 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water to the crockpot. Stir contents around. Cook on high for 20-30 minutes until sauce thickens. Taste and add Sriracha for spicier, brown sugar for sweeter if desired.

Drain the noodles in a colander and rinse thoroughly with cold water to stop the cooking. Heat 1 tablespoon of the cooking oil in a large nonstick skillet or wok set over high heat. Add the eggs and cook, stirring with a spatula, until set, about 2 minutes. Transfer the eggs to a large bowl and chop.


Make the Singapore Noodle Sauce, stirring the ingredients together in a small bowl. Set by the stove. Prep the veggies: slice the onion, slice the bell pepper and chop the garlic, placing all by the stove, along with the carrots and snow peas. Pat dry the chicken/tofu and cut into ¾ inch cubes.


Mix the curry powder, turmeric, sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce and 1 tbsp water in a bowl. Heat the wok until very hot. Add the sunflower oil, onion and pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 mins until softened and starting to brown in places. Drain the noodles and add to the pan, along with the sauce mixture and beansprouts.


Steps: Bring a skillet of water to the boil, and add the salt. Add the pasta and cook for the recommended amount of time on its packaging. Strain the pasta, keep the pasta water, and wipe the skillet dry. Use the same skillet to saute the shallots and garlic in oil. Add the crab meat and saute for about 2-3 minutes.


Ingredients. 1 (6-ounce) package skinny rice noodles (py mai fun) ½ cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth. 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce. 1 teaspoon sugar. ½ teaspoon salt. Cooking spray. 1 tablespoon peanut oil, divided. 1 large egg, lightly beaten.


The broth is done, ready to assemble the noodle bowls. Cook noodles - Cook the noodles according to the packet directions while the broth is simmering, then drain. Assemble - Place the noodles in a bowl. Then ladle over the soup broth and all the add-ins. Sprinkle with green onions if using then serve!
